Effective Date: January 1, 2025. By using RoleReady, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RoleReady, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

RoleReady is a job search management platform that helps users track job applications, optimize resumes, prepare for interviews, and analyze salary data. The service is provided as-is and may be modified at any time.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it updated.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use RoleReady to: violate applicable laws, infringe on others' intellectual property, transmit malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, or use the service in any way that could damage or impair its functionality.

5. Subscription Terms

Free plan users have access to the features specified on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

6. Intellectual Property

RoleReady and its content are owned by RoleReady Inc. You retain ownership of the data you add to the platform. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.

7. Privacy

Your use of RoleReady is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

RoleReady is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Job search outcomes are not guaranteed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleReady's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
